my husband and i purchased a used 1997 dodge caravan from williams chrysler plymouth in chicago illinois in may 2000.

my husband's credit was not favorable, but mine was. so the dealer said the van would be in my name with my husband as the cosigner. we both signed the loan application. however, after about 10 minutes, they brought another loan application for me to sign saying, some information on the first application was wrong and they would have to do it over, but wanted me to sign it first. i did so, but they said my husband did not have to sign this one.

the loan was approved by bank one in milwaukee wisconsin. when i receive my payment vouchers, the name and social security were not mine and my husband's name was not on the account.

when i asked the dealership for my records, for verification, they refused to give them to me.

i am afraid that if i let the bank know that the information is incorrect, they may take the vehicle back, even though i've made all of the payments.

what are my options?
