So we_re 2,000 miles over our warranty.. which means our fuel pump will be about $500 to fix ..
I had to call into the(owner of liberty truckland). This was to be fixed by his mechanic the last time we were there, and they didn_t fix it because they were short staffed.
Then I called Larry_s office and spoke with Bobbie(another mechanic).. I told him the accuator was still broke, he was like _wasn_t that fixed the last time you were in here?_
Then I said , yes.. but it broke again 2 days later.. plus the Pump that was under warranty, that the young mechanic was going to fix through our warranty, well it never got fixed..
I went into a conversation with Bobbie about there not being a mechanic there when we tried to bring the car back in for repair etc. etc.
So Guardian Warranty said our warranty isn_t 2 years or 120,000 miles.. its 116,366 miles (or) 2 years.. which ever is first.
Great, that_s $1,000 down the drain.. none refundable.
Any ideas on how we are going to come up with $500 for the car?
I put the ball in Liberty Truckland_s court. I said they were to have fixed the pump under our warranty, but were short staffed.. and couldn_t get it fixed.
Plus the accuator still needs fixed.. BLAH>
we feel neglected of services during those periods of when we were there by appointment and then we were never helped or told ahead of time that a repair guy was not going to be available giving us the run around.
my wife and i need some advice on this as its gone over board we need to take legal action if we need to as we have a 13month old boy and we obviously must have our car parts compensated for this abrupt de-servicing because just basic warranty voided due to the time it was not expired..How should we work this out?
