Hi, I reccently traded in a car at an auto dealership for a new auto. The dealership took my "trade" to a service shop and the service shop told the dealer there was a "discrepancy" in the odometer reading from where they had previously serviced the car and the current odometer. The title to the car is clean and clear. The dealer where I traded in the car now wants me to "buy the trade" back from them because they say they cannot sell the traded car. I contend that the service dealers records are wrong but my service records were lost in a long distance move a few months ago so I cannot prove this. What shoudl I do???? Thanks.

If your transaction to buy the new vehicle was completed already with no contingencies, then it's a done deal.
You have no obligation to the dealer.
