What is the name of your state? Georgia

Can you be charged full amount for a car that was leased that went back to the dealer early due to emergency reasons?? If not how do you fight the charges. Also can a bank force you to pay off a car loan on a car that was reported as totaled in an accident by the insurance company and was junked?

1. Unless the car was returned under the Lemon Law, you are still responsible for the full loan amount. You can't just take a car back to a dealer and not expect to make the payments. You don't fight the charges...you just pay...or you deal with the consequences.

2. If the insurance didn't cover the loan balance, you are responsible for the difference. If you don't pay, they can sue you for the balance and report negative information on your credit report.
