What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

CALIFORNIA

Okay my car was repo on the paper work that she sent to my old address knowing i dont live there i put in a change of address and i talked to her on the phone several times after the repo and she never mentioned this paperwork she was sending me the only reason i knew about it is because i needed something to prove to my retirement company why i needed the money that i have saved up , then i found out that they where going to sell my car in 5 days if i dont have all the money, i couldn't believe it . Dont they have to send all the paperwork certified mail , this is my car we are talking about, a 2500,00 loan for a 17,000.00 dollar car. If I didnt ask for that paperwork i would have never received it. And they would have sold my car.

Also on the paperwork there is a finance charge of 1885.00 for 9/1/2017-9/13/2017 , I thought that was a little extreme for 13 days . Its a mess I didnt even check into all this before i got the loan, biggest mistake of my life!!!!!!

Thanks Jodi
