What is the name of your state? New Jersey

My Land Rover's seat cushion melted and caught on fire today while I was driving. This was not due to smoking or having an open flame in the car. Best I can tell it was from the seat warmer overheating. I immediately turned off the heater, and exited the car. I was not injured, but I'm afraid to get in the car again, even if mechanic repairs it (car is under warranty). What should be my next steps. If I have to contact a lawyer, what specialty should I look for?

Thank you
Huai

Have the vehicle checked by the dealer and find the exact cause of the problem. Then you might have the need for an attorney. Right now the only claim you have is to have your vehicle repaired under warranty.

Search for and also ask the dealer if there is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) for that problem with your make and model vehicle .

A TSB search should bring up all TSBs on your vehicle .

Umm, Narcisssist Hater, maybe you can think you are funny on new threads, and not dead ones.

Just a little girl chat advice, since you seem enlightented to stick around and be mental.
