What is the name of your state? Texas.
I'm a nurse who has hep C. My boss informed me of an Easter card that was sent to our nsg. faciltiy this recently with no return address on the outside, and on inside was typed to all 3-11, Hall 2 nursing assistants exposing the fact that I have Hep C. I have not shared this info w/ any person at the facility. This is certainly libel. I'm not sure how to go about finding out who sent it. There have been many employees who no longer work there as a result of their own misconduct. Have any ideas?

Stay real quiet. Don't tell anyone that your boss spoke to you about this. Generally speaking the person that did this wants to see your reaction and if you stay quiet they will come forward. What is hidden in darkness does not stay there. Like I said earlier.....generally speaking the person that did this to you is some one that you trust and close to you.

If it's true (which it is) then it isn't libel.
Because this response is entirely correct, it's time to do some damage control.

Go out and buy some similar cards, and start mailing them the exact same way the first one was, except in each of them accuse yourself of something totally ridiculous (i.e. testicular cancer). When the 5th or 6th one rolls in, no one is going to believe a word in any of them.

Good luck.

You Are Guilty's advice is excellent. Don't leave your fingerprints on the cards, envelopes, or stamps.
