hey,

thing are going ok for now. We have our temporary order in place, with me having primary residence and breana going with her mom from friday evening until sunday evening. This will be until the psychological evaluations which are on monday and tuesday. Now, my X has been unusually friendly, these last 4 or 5 days, calling "just to say hi", and inviting me to lunch, and to join her in shopping for our daughter and her son. I didnt question it though, I just went with it lol. She says that she wants to be "friends" again, and while I would like this very much, I cant help but think she is just being nice because she knows that she has alot weighing in my favor. Also I know that she is scared to death of the psych evaluation, because eventhough her own family tell her shes has got psych problems. Im not too sure if mental disorders are hereditary or not, but i know that both her mother and grandmother are bi-polar...So in an effort to be civil and "friendly" I took into consideration her reasoning for her not being able to take breana this weekend, (she said she had to work) and I agreed that I would let her have breana this next week from monday until wednesday morning. I called Friend of the COurt to see if I was doing anything I wasnt supposed to and they said that its up to my own discretion if I want to allow breana to go with her mom outside the normal visitation schedule, but that it would be wise to notate when mom dosent take bre on visitations.

I'm glad to hear things are going well....

It's great that you're being flexible with her...just be on guard, the niceness can turn to ugliness VERY quickly.

I'm sure it will look great that you are being flexible with her as well. Just remember, it's not about her and how horrible she is, but about who you daughter is better off with. :)

P.S. I'm pretty sure that mental disorders run in the family.....keep an eye on her in the future and make sure she's staying on "keel". Bipolar can sneak up on you and a lot of the times, people don't realize or believe that they need treatment.

Good luck honey!
