due to a recent snow storm (California) the landlord's illegal (no permit) carport crushed our auto. We only have liability ins. on it. The landlord said "Too bad, sue me!"
It is an inexpensive mobile in the hills and don't believe he even has any insurance on it. Is that legal not to have ins. & do we have any recourse? We have no transportation and cosequently will lose job. Thanks, Nancy
