My ex is now saying the child she acknowledged as mine, is not mine. She filed false allegations against me and got a temporary custody order. My lawyer is appealing.

It has been the most anguishing year of my life. She swore to me the child could have been no one elses, that she did not have relations with anyone but me. I gave up college, bought baby items, and I hired an attorney. If it is not mine, is there a case for mental anguish?

I still have to wait for the dna results to come back.

Yes, I signed an acknowledgment of paternity and had it notorized during her pregnancy. I did not sign the affadavit of paternity. I did not know the child was born. Her boyfriend told me.

I did not sign an affadavit of parentage. I couldn't. I did not know it was born. I did not go to the hospital. I was TOLD I could go.
