I have a question. I referred my friend to my attorney to handle her case and it has the potential to bring her a good deal of money. My attorney made the comment to me that I deserved something for referring the case to him. My question is, Is it common for an attorney to pay someone for a referral? Don't get me wrong I am not out for money but just thought I would ask since the comment was made to me.
