I checked into the status of my case, to find it was never settled.
What I have received have been Scheduled Loss of Use(s) for
injured body parts. Now my question is:

If, in fact, my case was never settled....and I settle now,
will I owe my attorney a percentage of the final settlement?

When I received my SLU's, did the attorney receive a percentage
of those? And if so, what is the difference between receiving those
percentages and receiving an actual claim settlement?

Thank you for your time.

Wow...talk about starting a conversation in the middle...

Luckily, this is an easy one: You are represented, so you should ask your attorney.

If you had an attorney handling your case, the attorney likely would be entitled to a percentage of the settlement. Review the contract you signed with your attorney and discuss with your attorney the status of your case.
