My wife has left and filed divorce papers. We are in a financial crisis an cannot find anyone to loan monies either business or personal. I had told her to back off the divorse for six months i will right the financial ship and give her her wish in three months after. She refused because boyfriend says if she pulls papers her relationship ends. I also told her if she does not pull paperwork she will think she has vacationed in hell!!!! for two years plus. What would a good attornrys advice be to her as far as the path of least resistance. She knows me well enough that i will make those two years a living nightmare!!!

I don't know what a good lawyer would tell you but I'd just go ahead and let her have the divorce. Why hang on and hold a grudge? It's not worth it. Are there kids involved? I understand the part about money being tight right now but if there aren't any kids you two can file the divorce yourself and save money. Also, go ahead and if she wants it that bad maybe she could just end up paying your attorney fees. Bottom line, if someone wants a divorce they can get it and trying to hang on just isn't worth it. Been there.
