These ppl are jerks. Today when my husband got his final check from them he was not paid for New Years Day. When he called the office and talked to the receptionist she said she would have to pull his file and talk to the boss...(she is the one who does all their payroll) and she couldn't do anything about it until tomorrow or Wednesday. Now the only requirements for getting holiday pay after your 8 week probationary period is that you work the day before the holiday and the day after..which he did. So my question is this...If he goes and cashes the check does that make it impossible for us to collect on the other day they owe him? Maybe by saying since we cashed the check we were in agreement to the hours worked and the pay...or does it work that way with payroll? I appreciate any advice you could give me. Thanks so much.
