What is the name of your state? Missouri

I was wondering if my band could be sued for defamation if we include the song
title

I Know You Slept With Micheal Jackson.

The song is about a wierd dream the singer had where his girlfriend slept w/ Micheal Jackson.

Should we change it to Mr. Jackson?

Thanks for your help,
Jason

Getting sued over this is the best thing that could happen to you. It would make the national news and increase your band's notoriety.

Michael Jackson is a public figure and it is highly doubtful that he could prevail in court because you used his name. Unless the song could be misconstrued as being factual by listeners or if MJ is endorsing a product in your song, you can say quite a bit about MJ.
