i was contacted by a cellular company offering me a special on cell phones. i told them ok only if i could get a phone number that would not be long distance for me in my area to call my service technicians. i needed 3 phones 1 in which i needed 1,000 minutes, 1 @ 500 minutes and 1 @ 200 minutes. i received 3 cellphones via courier and at that time no contract or $ was collected for the phones. the phones #'s were long distance so i contacted the cell co. and it took them over 1 week to correct. we i received the new #'s they messed up the plans with each phone. when i received my bill from cingular my 200 minute phone had over 900 minutes of calling time and my 1,000 minute phone had under 200 minutes of phone time. i have made several attempts over the last 3 months to get the problem corrected and have never received any calls back or response from cellular co. now my account is going to collections and i am being charged and early term. fee by cingular and the cell phone co. since i never signed any contract am i legally obligated to pay these fees. cingular says there is a broken seal contract and i am liable. i was never made aware of this and never signed any contract or anything. please help.
