In March of 98, I purchased a Cell phone from Cellular One in Clifton Park NY. Because of my bad credit I had to put down a $600.00 Deposit, which would go into a savings account with interest. I was told that as long as I keep my contract for the full 2 years without breaking it, then I would get the money back. Now it is June 2001 and was told that I am not getting it back until I pay ontime for the next 6 months. I paid late on occassion, but I at least paid it and only owe approx. $50 a month, Not $600. Can Cell one do this...It seems they have a right to take your money, but dont have to give you good service, or a decent phone that works right. What good is the phone if you cant use it because of cut-offs and echoeing.
