I enrolled in a 9month Dental assisting program at a Career Technology Center that is funded by the gov. tuition cost was $5000.00 I was given my schedule of classes b4 school started basically i was to attend M-TH from 5-9pm ( various classes) . Well several classes have been canceled and are supposed to be made up b4 may31. We have never had class on a WEdnesday and now I am being told that we are not having classes from 7-9 on thursdays. I asked the director how are we going to make up for all this missed time and she said ,that the schedule she gave me was not * set in stone* and we will graduate on time.. My question is basically Do I have a right to demand a portion of a refund I have figured out that I have already missed 182 hours of education that I was supposed to recieve and have paid for. What exactly are my rights .What is the name of your state?
