What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? from California. I have about 19 payments out of a 60 month term left to pay. Paying 100%. I drive 180 miles to work everyday(10 years), and need a car. No savings to buy one out right, need to obtain a loan. How do I get a court approval letter?,is there costs to ask the court?,the payments the dealer offered are reasonable. Thanks,,,,Jennifer

ANY new credit MUST be approved by your trustee. You're going to have to go thru him/her to even attempt this. I don't think there are any costs involved.

Not OUR Trustee!!!

He sent a letter to us, telling us not to contact his office in re: to any new loans or modifications to our plan. Any info we request must be made thru an attourney. If we have a question about a payment sent, we may call his office for that purpose. He is such a cheerful person!

Interesting... then it sounds like you need to get in touch with your attorney.. the trustee still has to approve any new credit, etc.
