What is the name of your state?tx
I included my vehicle on ch7 and did not reaffirm the loan. I am behind one payment and I am afraid my car will be repoed. Any idea how soon they repo the cars when they don't recive the payment on due date? If I make the payment couple weeks after the due date, will they still come after my car? :(

Actually, they can come take it at anytime once they determine you are in default. If they contract says you're in defaut if you're even 1 day late, they can set the repo man after you.

God forbade, If the car is repoed, is it possible to get it back? And will there be any repo charges that I will have to pay before get it back?

Legally speaking, I don't know. But, having worked with several repo's(and the owners of the repo's) I would imagine not. I can speak of how DaimlerChrysler does their repos: They are brought to a dealership where they are held for a short period of time(normally a week or less) and then shipped to an auction. Maybe it depends on the lender. Is this the only time you have been late?
My b/f contacted the bank once to get an extension on his car payment, and they tacked on that month's payment to the end of the term.. but his credit was in good standing at the time.

Yes, this is the only payment I am late. I am afraid if I call the bank for an extension, they might instead call the repo guy immediately.

contacting your bank

scary as it is,everytime I have ended up contacting the bank or a creditor, its gone better for me then if I ignore them, especially if you have a specific plan to fix the situation and you stick to what you say ....
