My exhusband was awarded primary residential parent in our divorce. We agree on visitation and basically do shared parenting. Today I found out his National Guard unit was activated and he will be leaving on Thursday. Tonight he informed me he wants our daughter to continue going to his house and maintain her routine and stay with his girlfriend while he is away. I disagreed with this and he then told me he would transfer his custody to someone else while he is away and I will not have custody. Can he do this and do I have to allow my daughter to stay with his girlfriend while he is away?

Location, Location, Location!

Hi Sandy!

Take it from experience, if you do not post your location you will not get any advice. There are plenty of members who will offer you advice if they know where you are. Laws from state to state
vary dramatically. So, location, location, location!
