What is the name of your state? Texas

Without an attorney how do you request a change of venue?

Also, when do you request a change of venue, before arraignment, at arraignment or when?

Simple... file a WRITTEN motion with the court, citing the legal reasons why you feel a change is warranted.

Why do you feel that a change is necessary??

Finally, if you don't know how to file a proper motion or to provide its support, get an attorney. This is NOT a simple thing to be done by a novice.

Change of Venue in TEXAS for a CRIMINAL MATTER. HAHAHA. :p

I hope you have an extremely gifted attorney you plan to hire. And I hope you have some very very very good causes for a change of venue. Like the press in hounding you like crazy and the jury pool has been influenced greatly. But guessing that you do not have a lawyer it is not a high profile case in which case you stand zero to no chance of a change of venue in the state of Texas.
