I am currently a Federal employee with HVC and am condsidering changing jobs over to the commercial sector. It is suspected that I have had this condition for over 15 yrs and it has been diagnosed as extremely mild. No liver damage and very mild inflamation. I had a liver biopsy less than 5 months ago. No treatment of any kind has been advised except for periodic blood work.
What risk do I face changing from my current health insurance to the one offered by my prospective new employee?
Any advice from you would be greatly appreciated!!
