What is the name of your state? NE
I would like to change the summer visitation from what it currently states. The NCP has the children from the last day of school (end of May) until the week before school (end of August). I would like to change it to the regular 6 weeks. Do I need an attorney for this or is this somethng I can file on my own?

I think that he probably will. However, I have let him have the children over Christmas vacations and longer breaks (spring break=1 week) so it is not a situation in which he isn't able to see them, or I am keeping them from him.

and how far does dad live? and what is your reason for wanting to further minimize the children's access to dad?

It sounds as though you/Dad live a fair distance apart and that his time with his children is already limited. If so, unless you have a REALLY good reason for cutting his time further, don't expect this to fly.
