Chapter 13 and re-enlistment bonus

What is the name of your state? OR
We filed chapter 13 in September 2005. My husband would like to join the National Guard. When talking to the recruiter he was told that he might get a re-enlistment bonus, if he joins the National Guard and gets this bonus what happens to our bankcruptcy? Should we get in touch with the trustee before he makes this decision?

Nothing is going to "happen" to your BK. The worst case scenario is that the trustee "takes" the bonus and uses it to pay your creditors.
