What is the name of your state? TN
I am currently 21 months into a 36 month chapter 13. The end of April, my account had received the payments from my payroll dept instead of the usual four. I think this was due to mail or late posting,,,,,who knows? The trustee always pays secured debts first and then distributes to the unsecured creditors the leftover. Since there was only 3 contributions made he paid the car payment and the house payment was about $100 short. In may I will have 5 or possibly even 6 contributions into my account. Would it be safe to assume that the trustee will make up the difference on the mortgage company payment instead of disbursing all of the extra monies to the the unsecured creditors. Or should I call the trustees office and ask them about this? I dont want to come out of chapter 13 in the hole on my mortgage.
