I live in Florida and my soon-to-be ex husband and I are in Chapter 13 - not yet confirmed - but we have been paying the payments for a few months - while a few IRS issues are worked out. My husband quitclaimed both my homestead property and a rental property to me - and now that we are getting a divorce soon - I would like to sell both properties and move to somewhere more affordable. I did not sell them before filing because I would have lost money on the rental as I had a lease in place and my homestead property will take some time to sell being larger with acreage and some repairs that need to be done.

I am assuming that I will be required to pay off the balance owed on the Chapter 13 which is fine, but will the court allow this and is there a time limit...some thoughts please.:) :)
