Hi,

I live in PA, and my mother just filed chapter 7 bankruptcy to pause a foreclosure on her house. Although we still can't come up with the money to pay the back mortgage payments so we can bypass the foreclosure of our house. What I want to know is: Is there any companies out there that will help us with the payment and we could make payment plans with them or something like that? Sorry I know wrong forum, but didn't know where to go. I am 21, and I know very little about bankruptcy and mortgage payments :).

The court should have a list of mortgage companies who will grant loans to people going through bankruptcy. Your mother will pay a higher interest rate, but there are 1,000's of companies that would love to assume the loan.

I have developed a web site specifically for people in your financial condition. I even wrote a ebook which is available for a free download from my website titled, "102 Things You Need to Know Before You File Bankruptcy." This book answers most of your questions. It is provided to consumers as a pro bono effort. Also, feel free to contact me personally if I can answer any of your questions over the phone. My phone number is available from my website at www.bankruptcyparalegalservices.com
