aggravated mom

We are currently buying a house on contract. We have until Augest 15th 2002 to get the house into our name or we will lose it. Now we tried a few months back to get the house in our name and we were told to file bankrupcy and try again in 6mo. We filed and just got the discharge May 31. No today we inquired about a house that is suppose to be rent to own. Sience living in the house we are currently in we have found many problems that we really cannot afford to fix. Well when we inquired about the house we were looking into we were told sience we had filed bankrupcy there is no way we can get a loan until 2 years after the discharge. Does that mean we will also not be able to get this house into our name. Because 2 years from discharge would be May 31 2003. We have to be able to have the house in our name by Augest 15 2002. Are we screwed for listening to that loan company we tried to go thru before.
