What is the name of your state? Ohio

I have a question, I just was reading other posts and I'm confused.

I moved out of my home and seperated from my husband 1 year ago... Not smart.. I know

So he moved out last summer... The house was in foreclosure and we filed a joint bankruptcy (No official divorce / separation yet.

So of course the house was included and has now been empty for a long time. I realize that the mortgage company is filing a relief from stay which I think is pending the discharge..

I know the mortgage is going to be shown as included in bankrupcy on our credit reports.. Is there anything I can do to keep from adding a foreclosure to that? Should I contact them or something.

In my ignorance I thought it would just show the bankruptcy..and because of the bankruptcy it would just turn the house back to the bank.. but I just figured out that isn't true :)

Advice?

It should just say "included in bankruptcy"
I was under the impression that they can not put any negative remarks on your credit report once included.

The bankruptcy notation is by far much worse than a foreclosure notation but Skank is correct, they can NOT report ANY negative information after your filing date. Doing so would be a violation of your discharge.
