What is the name of your state? washington
Can anyone tell me if my wife needs to tell the trustee at our 341 meeting that she filed for bk befor we were married , it was 20 years ago.
Also we are useing federal excemptions, we don't see anyplace for or yard equitment lawn mower and things, are they excempt ? if so where and how do we list them. Last question our car is vauled at 8000 we owe 6000 and plan on refirming, we put in schedule D, but where do we put our part of excemptions for the auto or do we not? "Thank You Very Much"

The bankrutpcy forms DO ask if you've ever filed before, and a Trustee could ask that same question. 20 years ago won't make any difference to a Trustee.

They are exmept to the extent that your exemptions can cover them. You list them on your Asset schedule, with a garage sale value, and then you list them as "property claimed as exempt'.

but where do we put our part of excemptions for the auto or do we not?
I hope you're not doing this pro se. You list the car as an asset, then you list it as EXEMPT property and use the exemption amount available to you - Federal is $2950
