In Texas can one be sued for an account charged off back on 8/15/14 account goes back to 7/8/09 I've been given 14 days to respond.

Charge off means squat to you. It's an accounting issue for the lender.

You can be sued for being delinquent in your payments.

What the account "goes back to" is largely immaterial. When was the last time you made a payment or other activity on the account?
