I can't complain about Taxing's correction of what I said. I've done the same thing to others...and very recently at that ;)

Oh. I am constantly correcting people. I only realize how annoying it is when I see others doing it. Haha. :)

Really? You don’t have a little piece of paper (called a registration in states I’m familiar with) that shows the plate number assigned to that car? In my state it’s mandatory to carry it in the car?


But yes, you did much more than I or most people would.

But I also know none of my friends would put a stolen plate on their car. Maybe you need to be pickier when it comes to friends.
I was thinking this as well.

However, it is also possible that someone switched her plates without her knowing. I've often wondered why Timothy McVeigh went to the bother of removing his plates without "borrowing" (using without permission) someone else's. After all, driving without a license plate is why he got pulled over. Perhaps this thought has crossed another person's mind.
