I have a broken lease and was paying a little each month. The complex turned my case over to collections & I continue to pay collections. On my credit report the complex has charged my entire balance off as a bad debt? If I am still paying on this, will it come off my credit report when paid in full? If not why should I keep paying the collection agency? What are the repercussions of not paying?

You owe the money even if the company has charged it off-- they probably sold the account to a collection agency. You should ask the landlord and the agency about it and make sure they mark it partially and then fully paid.
