i am being charged for dui.
i found out about these charges in 1995 when i applied for a cdl license in texas.flordia reinstated my license ( i never had a florida license ) orlando florida police office is saying it was me who they arrested..i sent them my finger prints and photo.arresting officer says it was me by my photo.14 yrs later..this dui happened in 1987 how can he say it was me?.i lived in houston tx at that time of arrest..person who used my name was also charged with no drivers licence.un safe vehicle..then the police let him go just a over night arrest.someone used my name and now i have to fight them. my texas drivers license is now expired texas won't renew until i get this cleared up..i want to go back driving truck but because of this i had to take a job paying $7.00 an hour and can't make it on that kind of pay.
also if i ever get this cleared up can i sue the city of orlando florida?
i need help or advice can't afford a attorney..what do i do??
