just read on a local TV Station WPVI website regarding Non biological parents/grandparents obtaining rights to children that they have raised, apparently the supreme courts of Pa have heard many voices regarding the separation of children who are taken away from "parents" just because their biological parents come back into their lives.

Yeah !!!! Finally some progress ....I think that if you choose not to be a parent, and someone else is willing to love them, and then you change your mind.... you should be just s*** out of luck!.... I personally think it is sick when a drug addict abandons their child to the neighbor (or family member) so they can get high, and when they are done partying the children get taken from the only family they have known to go back to the person with their head up their butt....All I can say is it is about time!!!

I agree. If people want to abandon their children and go off having an eternal party, they should not have a claim to their child or children later. Children need a stable environment and they should not be removed from perhaps the only family that they have known just because their biological parent(s) have now decided that they are ready to be parents. Children should not be subjected to their parent(s) unresolved dysfunction. Very few drug addicts change their ways permanently.
