My daugter recently broke both of her wrists, while on a school field trip and now cannot return to school as she cannot write, eat or anything else on her own, including go to the bathroom. The school has said that they will arrange for a tutor to come to her house, but I have not brought up the subject of her medical bills, yet. Is the school liable for her bills (if not fully covered by our insurance) or is the town park liable where she got hurt? Also she had to quit her track team, and is just really put out by this injury as is our whole family. We are greatful that it wasnt worse, but it is still upturning her whole life at this point. She is only 13 and really the most upsetting thing to her is that she cannot to return to school for the rest of this year. I guess I just need to know who (if any) is liable for her bills.
