State of Georgia. I have heard that in Georgia a child can decide which parent he/she wants to live with once they reach age 14. Is this true?

Legally, a child isn't allowed to choose where they want to live, but a judge may consider the wishes of a 14 year old and up child, based on maturity and their reasons. However, this is only a part of many factors and some judges may not listen to a child at all.
