My husbands ex-wife moved 2 hours away 4 years ago. Since her move his daughter ( then in 4th grade now in 7th) has been doing absolutely awful in school. Before her move she was doing fine in school. His Ex never enforces the visitation, she tells their daughter to call and ask if she has to come over. The Ex also talks bad about my husband and I to or around their daughter, which has resulted in lack of respect to us by this 12 year old. Also, in the past year, his ex has asked to move to 2 totally different states. When husband denies writtern permission, she drops it.(for a while). We have documented everthing.
I am a stay at home mom. We have 1 child together and one on the way, and I have 2 children from a previos relationship. One of which my husband has adopted. I am involed alot at the school in which my children attend.
Is their any way at all any of this could help my husband in court if her decides to go for custody of his daughter?
Are school grades of great importance when it comes to change of custody?

He could probably file on the instablity of the childs life. You need to take all your evidence and documentation to an attorney to fully discuss your chances. Also, you need to determine which state has jurisdiction since she has moved so much.
