I live in the state of NY and the father of my child lives in Georgia. She is still an infant. What are the rules for custody. Is he allowed to take her out of state, or does he have to come her to see her? What age would he be able to take her out of state?

Most courts will not award out of state visitation or overnight visitation with a absent parent until the child is around 2-3 yrs of age. Especially at that distance.

But it is something you will need to insist upon, not just assume the courts will do so for you.
