my questions are if a parent leaves the state of california and moves to tennesse is that abandoment. if not what declares abandoment in the state of california. alsohow much of a role does this play into custody and child support.the parent that is leaving has also has had an affair if that plays a role in it.

no contact whatsoever for a period of one year. no phone calls, no mail, no cards, nothing.

custody - if the other parent has abandoned the child, you can almost guarantee custody.

an affair??? i guess that you could question their morals, but that is about it.
