Please help a distraught mother in Memphis!

I got a new job making more than I ever have. This required me to move out of state. I petitioned the court for permission (like a good girl) and now my ex is slapping me with a change in custody. He is alledging that I am an unfit mother due to the fact that I have been treated medically for depression(mental illness). I began my treatment prior to our divorce and now 3 yrs later it's an issue. My questions are...does he have a chance to get custody and what restitution do I have for my character defimation and emotional distress. Thanks for any help you can give.

Since your treatment for depression was prior to the divorce and you were awarded custody at that time, there has been no change in circumstances that would warrant a change in custody.

I doubt you have any hope for restitution based on defamation or distress.
