I live in florida. I am going thru a divorce and my wife is alienating my 15 year old daughter from me. I would like joint custody as both of us will have homes set up in the same city with plenty of room for our daughter. My wife is telling me that our daughter wishes to live with her only and also says that no teenage girl of 15 (soon to be 16) would want to live with their father. My wife also tells me that over the age of 12 the child can make their own decision as to where they want to live in the state of florida and that is the end of the subject. In other words, my daughter has the last say but her mother is putting words in her mouth
