My son’s father picked him up over a week ago and has not brought him back. My son is 16yrs. old and said he doesn’t want to live here anymore because there’s always problems here. He isn’t giving me anything concrete to address and I don’t know of any big issues. I have primary, physical custody, while his father and I split our time with him 50/50. His father has no plan to bring him home. I currently receive minimal child support as well. What am I supposed to do and what can happen?

What reasons is your son giving? Why do you mention child support? What are the problems with you?

That he never knows what kind of mood everyone is going to be in./Because his father pays child support to me./I don’t understand your last question, can you be more specific?

Who is "everyone"? What kind of "mood" causes your son problems? Again - is this Dad's parenting time? What sort of parenting time is he given in the court order? If his time is over, did you go to pick your son up?
