What is the name of your state? CA

My husband is on Social Security (supplimental and disability) and my daughter (his step) gets a check every month. I dont know the name of the program, but it goes along with his disability payment. Do we have to file a return for my daughter, or even claim this as income?

Will I get a 1099 for it?

You will get a 1099 for it. If it's under her SSN you won't have to file for her unless she also has other income.
