What is the name of your state? Washington State
My husband has 2 children with his ex-wife. The oldest is 11 and moved in with us in September. Both parents agreed that would be best for the child. The ex-wife is still collecting the full child support for the 2 children and writes us a reimbursement check for almost half of what is paid to her each month.
We are wanting to have the court documents changed soon. Is it possible that he will no longer have to pay his ex-wife any child support? Or will he continue to have to pay her for the child that remains in her home?

His ex is a real estate agent and told us she made about 36,000 last year. He made about 42,000 (before deductions).
I'll have to get a worksheet and try to figure it out! I just don't know if the amounts are separated per kid. The youngest is 7 and the one that moved in with us is 11. So for this year they are in the same bracket.
Just thought I'd see if anyone knew anything on it. I got on the RCW, concerning cs, website for my state but it said nothing legal about splitting the kids between the parents. And just how that affects the support.
My ex tried to split our 2 kids with me, thinking he wouldn't have to pay any cs. So I wasn't sure of the laws and how it works in this case.
Thank you for responding! Much appreciation to you ;)
