Me and my fiance have just had a child but he is not the biological father and it is known to both of us. The biological father is trying to get custody but it has been pre determined by the court of law that he will loose his paternal rights. My fiance wants to sign as the father, and I know that technically paternity fraud is mainly an issue with financial implications. But are there any other risks?

If it's predetermined that the father will lose his rights, then why commit fraud? Have your boyfriend adopt the child after you marry.

Just curious, but why was it predetermined in court that he will lose his parental rights?

I am sorry, but none of that makes any sense. We could perhaps do more to help you if you would simply tell the whole story.
