What is the name of your state? Massachusetts.

I have been paying the same child support for many years. Can my son's mother take me back to court and get a retroactive setlement according to the raises I have received?
She has asked for half of my son's high school tuition, over and above my support payment. I fear that if I agree and pay the tuition, she will take me back to court for a higher support payment anyway.
She has reaped the profits of three properties, kept all of the money and time that I put into one of the properties. She is living very well, has always deducted my son as a dependant, but I know if we go back to court, her name will not appear on any of the properties. Is there any way this can be shown?
Thank You

Child support is only increased or decreased as of the date of filing. She cannot ask for retroactive raises. If you are not court ordered to pay tuition, don't pay it. You will only set yourself up for a court order to pay it whether you can afford it or not.

However, if you refuse you can also be pretty certain that she will petition for a child support increase. If your income has increased since the order was originally made, its likely that she will get an increase.

Thanks again. I appreciate your help. I am going to pay the tuition because he is a great son. I'm so glad he does not have the temperment of his mother.

Then pay the school directly, but realize this will not stop her from petitioning to increase the child support.
