What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

First, my husband has legal custody of his children, and also got ordered that he would provide the children with health insurance. Because both he and I have children together and I am a Federal Employee, I have been carrying all of the children under my "family" health insurance, I also have secondary coverage for the children. He just started working again, and got a notice from the court that he has failed to provide his children with health insurance, and that the Attorney General is going to have his work garnish insurance premiums from his paycheck. He called the Attorney General and told them that they already had health insurance, and they said that the Court Order does not say that the spouse can carry coverage of the children, but that he has too, and said that he has to get another insurance policy for the children in his name, forcing us to pay almost $550 a month in insurance premiums. Is there something that we can do about this? Let me also add that the job that he got, is just temporary until December...

Agreed. He needs to get into court and let a judge see that the kids are and have been continually covered and he needs to do it PRONTO.

Please don't let him drag his feet on this. It will only prove to give him grief for what seems to be no reason at all.
