i am from butte co. in calif. i was ordered by the court to pay $5000.00 for the support of my son when he was incarcerated as a juvenile. i paid $50. per month for two years and was then laid off from my job. i have not worked in over a year, so have not paid. i now owe $5299. is there any way to retire this debt with $4000.00 that i just received?
